This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I currently have 25 six- and seven-year-old students in my classroom. I am teaching first graders in a Title I school, located in a high poverty and high crime area of Pennsylvania.
All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken. I have three special education students and two ESL (English as a Second Language) students in my classroom. Several of the students in my classroom have an in-class social worker.
My Project
We want to keep the mice out of our classroom. We recently got one Mice Repellent Plug-in Ultrasonic Pest Repeller and it has made a big difference in one section of our classroom.
We are hoping to get more Mice Repellent Plug-in Ultrasonic Pest Repellers to keep our whole room free from mice.
We eat breakfast and snacks in our classroom on a daily basis. The muffins, crackers and pretzels tend to make a lot of crumbs. We do the best that we can to keep the room clean but it doesn't always work.
We are hoping that if we get more mice repellents for our room we will have a room free from creepy creatures.
