My students are in a full-time, ICT, second-grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse second graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants. All of my students are eager to learn, with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects and strive to do their best. All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
In order for students to work in class using technology and to be able to use the classroom’ iPads and chrome books, we desperately need a storage/charging cart. At the end of the day, our technology items need to be stored and charged so the students can use them the next day. A mobile laptop cart would keep them safe and ready for student’s use.
This cart will help us keep technology organized and in a safe location while they are not being used.
I would like to help students learn responsibility and put them in charge of making sure technology is charged and ready for the next school day.
