My Project

My students are eager to learn and grow as readers but my classroom lacks the resources to keep them engaged all day long. They beg to check out books from the school library but our time is limited so having a classroom library is essential to their reading growth. They came up with a list of books including Dork Diaries, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and some of The Who Was.. series that they want to read this year. They also enjoy reading picture books to practice reading skills being taught so a set of award winning picture books is also needed. The reading activities will also help keep them engaged while they grow as readers during literacy centers. With all of these reading resources my students will soar as readers and have brighter futures ahead of them.
