Let's keep learning, don't let the COVID get you down!
Help me give my students materials to create a sense of normalcy and fun while learning remotely. The use of Multi-Sensory Materials will help students with fine motor skill development, a challenge for all of my students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 3- and 4-year-old children on the autism spectrum. Most are non-verbal and English is not their first language. They have made tremendous strides this year in sharing, speech, and socialization. Please help me to help them continue to succeed!
My Project
Due to the generosity of a previous Donors Choose project, my students started their remote school year with a wide variety of materials. Everyday, my students are learning! At this point in distance learning, consumeable materials need to be replenished.
My goal is to continue to enable interactive education in a fun and meaningful way and provide students with the tools to participate at home, as we continue in a virtual model.
I have selected resources that are re-usable, multi-sensory, can be used for a variety of lessons and individual programs and perfect for my differently abled preschoolers.
These materials will be used to create letters and numbers so students can learn how to identify beginning and ending sounds and count, all while having fun with their teacher, peers, and parents as parents continue to facilitate learning at home!
