This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello! I am a school nurse at a charter Public High School in Laredo Texas, most of my students come in with several needs ranging from not having breakfast, to not having any or enough menstruation supplies , hygiene supplies which makes it hard for them to come to school, sometimes they choose to miss class which affects their attendance and overall performance during the school year. This school is a last resource for them depending on their situation, since teen pregnancy to having to work to help provide for their home and that's why they had to enroll in this alternative school.
These items will help me provide a little help and help them make their High School experience a little more pleasant, so they look forward to graduation and have a view of a brighter future.
I also share my schedules with both locations so I have to be driving every other day to both locations and that is the reason I am in need of a spacious back pack to help me move what's needed from campus to campus.
