Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students will record themselves introducing themselves to other students from Spain as part of an intercultural project that will connect them with another reality, allowing them to interact with people of the same age but from different backgrounds.

In this way, they will be able to learn about another culture while also sharing their own.

For example, they will find many similarities in ways of thinking, as the roots in both cases are Latin.

However, aspects such as being bilingual or the Americanization present in their daily lives will create notable differences, making them realize how unique and special they are.

Moreover, this project could allow them to form a friendship with someone from

another country, which, who knows, could flourish in the future with the tremendous positive aspects that this could bring.

Finally, the use of this technology will allow for better image and sound quality, as well as provide students with a device that, for economic reasons, is out of their reach, making this project a unique opportunity for them.
