My Students

Technology in education is advancing day by day, before our eyes. In our classroom, it is advancing year by year, and it seems to take forever to make progress. We need the most up-to-date interactive teaching tools to maximize the learning experience for each and every student!

Our school is a high achieving school in a small community at the base of a gorgeous mountain.

It seems everyone knows each other, watches out for one another, and wants the best for the children. My third graders are mostly performing at or above grade level, and we serve a handful of ELD students. ALL students deserve and need access to interactive technology that will keep them engaged, progressing, and reaching their unlimited potential.

My Project

I am so excited about the materials I am requesting! I am requesting a Mimio interactive whiteboard with Capture technology, enabling us to capture images and refer to them in the future. I am also requesting the required wireless adapter and power cord. Finally, included in my request is interactive software so that we may learn and reinforce key skills in the most engaging way possible. Students will be able to manipulate and be literally in touch with new information. Lessons and activities will come alive! The interactive whiteboard software is fun, engaging, and will reach all students in core language arts skills and concepts. Most of my students have not had experience with anything like an interactive whiteboard, and they will be thrilled with all that it offers.

This interactive whiteboard and software technology is the latest and most engaging method for reaching all students.

Every child in my classroom, now and for years to come, will benefit from all that it offers. All students should have access to the latest technology so that they are offered the as many new experiences and opportunities possible, and to be better prepared for their very bright futures!
