This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a Title I school, which is considered highest poverty. Our students are involved in a tennis club. Our goal is try and start a tennis team, with the 11 rackets, 2 packs of training tennis balls, 1 tennis ball tube, 1 duffle bag, 3 mesh bags for racket storage, 1 storage crate with wheels for the tennis balls along with your support. These items will provide our students with the start up kit needed to get things going.

Due to our status as a title 1 school (high poverty), it is difficult to provide our students with the equipment necessary to help our students transition into a team.

Our goal is to provide our students with new equipment for their transition into a team. These items can help them remember their time at our school and their opportunity to excel as student athletes.

My Project

By helping our students to get this equipment, we can create the energy they will need to help their dreams become a reality. In our community, tennis is a very revered sport. The students in our school wish to play at the level of the community figures they admire.

By providing these low incomes students with the equipment to start a tennis team, you will empower them to follow their dreams, no matter how big or small they may be.

Helping these students with this project will go a long way to helping them with whatever goals they look to accomplish, allowing them to believe that they will always have support to succeed!
