Help me give my students the opportunity to have necessary supplies for everyday use. Since COVID has impacted our school system, our students cannot share any items; therefore they’re often left with no school supplies once they arrive.

My Students
I have the ability to work with students in a Title I school district, trauma-informed school, where our students receive free lunch and most cannot afford the simple supplies they need to have to learn and grow. Our school system is so amazing, and each student walks into our building daily feeling safe, entering a positive environment and being motivated to conquer what obstacles that may come their way for the day. We strive to teach our students they can accomplish anything they set their minds to regardless of what their circumstances outside of school may be.
I work with students from Pre-K - 5 on all levels: SPED, ELL, gifted, etc.
My Project
These materials will make a difference because each student will have their own supplies to use daily. They will have pencils, erasers, white boards and snacks to have during the day. Our student body has so many different needs, and the materials on this list allow me to provide STEM activities when possible, snacks since lunch is at the end of the day and the students are hungry, and school supplies. It is so important that every child feels they’re included in the same day-to-day functions at school and home. I want to be able to give that to my students.
