My Project
School fundraising is a great opportunity to teach students essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and working hard to achieve goals. Teamwork – By working with a diverse team to achieve a common goal, students learn the importance of collaboration and delegation.
My students will benefit from the experience and pride of raising funds for an unforgettable experience.
This activity will make my students feel as if they are more in control of their lives.
Making personalized t-shirts as a fundraiser gives my students the opportunity to raise money for a field trip and ownership of their accomplishments. It will enable students to work with money and "customers". Learning to work with others and stepping out of the box will not only be a lesson in finance but in social and emotional learning.
