Help me give my students headphones for this year we are embarking on so they don't have to share a classroom set and each child can have their very own pair.
I teach an amazing lively group of 7th graders. I love teaching this age because my students are learning that they are growing up and how they fit in in this crazy world we live in. They have a lot of fun, positive energy and get so excited to tell me all about themselves and the things they enjoy doing.
But, let's be a little honest here, it's also the beginning of middle school for them so they are shy, awkward, and scared at times too.
I love that I can help them see that they are not alone and that life is what you make it.
Lastly, my students are kids that make me smile every day. They are kids that let me into their lives by telling me about themselves and their families, hobbies, friends and their pets. They are kids who absorb everything so I love that I get to help them understand life a little more as they are growing up.
My Project
We are about to embark on a school year like no other and as a teacher I am having to come up with ways to help make sure everyone in my classroom is as safe as possible. Normally, I have my students use a classroom set of headphones, but this year, that's not a good idea. I have a lot of students that likely won't be able to purchase their own so I want to be able to provide them with a pair they can have for the year for my class. They will also be able to use them at home should we all be quarantined and have to work from home.
