My Students

My classroom is filled with students who have a variety of different needs. Some of my scholars have disabilities, some are English second language learners, some have emotional needs, and others simply need to be motivated. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! Despite the obstacles they face on a daily basis, they come to school ready to learn. I love to see their eyes light up with smiles on their faces when they want to participate in a large group discussion to show they have grasped the skill that was taught during early instruction.

My Project

All students want to be granted the chance to effectively learn in a safe environment. Given the new norm with the safety guidelines presently put in place for the protection of our scholars and educators, teachers have had to become creative when it applies to teaching our students lessons. And also presenting concepts where they can take in and grasp what information is being taught to them.

I feel the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card is a great resource that offers great materials for educators to purchase to enhance their lessons from materials on TPT's website.

There are many on-line activities and assignment offered to teachers that are aligned with our math, science and E.L.A, curriculum that would be beneficial to all students being taught remotely and in a hybrid classroom setting. Given the situation with limited contact, scholars will be expected to complete most of their work on-line. Being able to purchase these assignments will be a great asset to any teacher's lesson plan.

Also, I feel the microphone which would amplify my voice I chose is an excellent device that can be used in the classroom while practicing social distancing with a protective mask in school or virtually. With a cordless microphone, students can clearly hear their educator's lessons and feedback that may be required during class instruction. I feel both of these resources would be an asset to any classroom.
