Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a really amazing class this year. This group did not go to preschool and were basically at home for the last 2 years because of COVID. They did not get the experience of preschool. So we had to start off really fresh, the basic things that students learn in preschool, for example, colors, shapes, numbers and ABC's. Along with the routines and social skills. Three Fourth of my class are Second Language learners. I need to give them a lot of support for understanding. Second Language Learners need a lot of visual, repetitiveness and vocabulary. All the centers I picked out will give these opportunities. Students will be engaged and practicing their new skills either if with an adult or small groups with their friends.

It was so fun looking at all the centers and deciding which ones that my students could benefit from.
