My Students

I have a wonderful group of 4-year-old and 5-year-old students in my class. This is my second year teaching a TK/ Kinder combination class. I love the smiles they bring to our class every day! Most of my students are learning English as a second language, making their first year in school a little more challenging. All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch and Second Harvest Food Bank comes to our school each month to bring healthy fruits and vegetables to them.

My Project

This project is about making learning fun. In this proposal, I am asking for some self-correcting alphabet and numbers puzzles. These puzzles are made a wood and will last a long time. The Vowel Owls Set will give my students extra practice listening to the medial sound in words in a fun way. With the stamp set requested, I will stamp their journals. They get so happy when I come by a give them a stamp on their journal page. It is very motivating for them. This set is self inking and you can change the type of stamp to give a variety of stamps. It comes with 10 different stamps that you can interchange. The last item that I am asking for is a monitor riser for my computer. This riser has a drawer and will allow me to store items so they will be within reach whenever I need them. These materials will make my classroom fun and run more efficiently.
