This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The most important aspect of a great debater and speaker is the ability to come up with an argument on the spot. Having my students play games that build their rebuttal skills is something that I will be able to use all year long.
My goal as a debate coach is to help my students build skills not only for the debate season, but outside of debate as well.
Many of my students struggle with their ability to make up an argument, or speech, on the spot.
It's my hope that with these games students will be able to build stronger speaking, listening, and rebuttal skills.
