it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students come to school each day with open hearts and minds, eager to learn not just academics, but how to become kind, resilient, and empathetic individuals. They are creative, curious, and full of potential—and they inspire me every day with their courage to grow.
Social-emotional learning (SEL) is essential to helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
The resources I’m requesting—such as SEL books and calm-down tools —will give them tangible ways to recognize and manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, and develop empathy and self-awareness.
