This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Kindergarten students are the youngest readers in our Title 1 school located in Elmhurst, NY! They love to read all different genres: poetry, picture books, nursery rhymes, fiction books, and fables! We would LOVE to grow our classroom library with brand new nonfiction books from National Geographic!

With these new National Geographic nonfiction sets of books, the Kindergarten students will learn many new topics such as: weather, sea animals, farm animals, transportation, and LOTS MORE!

Thank you so much for supporting our class filled with brand new readers and helping them expose the love of reading!
