My Project
Equipping our girls' softball team with the proper sporting equipment will boost their self-esteem and self-efficacy and hopefully winning spirit. Each year when our girls' softball team shows up for practice and conference games they are noticeably under-prepared with a lack of high-quality equipment such as hitters bats and fielder gloves.
When I asked the coach why don't you have enough softball equipment she would always reply, "we are not the priority."
Being that I have served as the school DonorsChoose Ambassador for many years, and I have had numerous projects funded; I decided to make the girls' softball team my priority. Even though they lack support, they don't lack the will to compete. Help support the purchase of this much-needed sports equipment.
