Help me give my students the materials they need to learn at home and at school as we transition from distance learning to hybrid model. They will need school supplies, xerox paper for work packets and gift card.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a second grade teacher who works in Cudahy, California. We will be starting the school year doing 100% distance learning. Hopefully we will move on gradually to a hyrbrid model where some kids stay home learning and some go to school. In order to be successful in this endeavour students will need some very necessary items and supplies.
Some of the supplies will be used to distribute during distance learning at the beginning of the year and the other items will be to do hybrid model of learning.
My Project
These materials will help my students learn noting that most the students at my school come from low-income homes. This material will be able to be used at home and at school as we go through the distance learning journey. I will provide their materials in the durable paper bags. I will be using the TPT gift card to find engaging and rigorous learning material to enhance my materials to make work packets for the students with the xerox paper requested.
The pencils, sharpners, erasers, and notebooks will help families make sure their children have the necessary supplies for everyday learning without having to worry about purchasing anything.
