Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Materials have and will always be needed and useful in the school environment to be able to do different and multiple activities. I find white boards to be a very useful gadget to do a math problems because you can look back and erase your mistakes without having to get a new paper or have the errors still showing.

Studies show that children having school supplies of their own can improve grades, creativity, attitudes towards learning, behavior, peer relationships and self-image.

A single pack of pencils and paper could be the gateway to a bright promising year. Having extra ways to learn can help the student be more productive.

Materials are important because many families cannot afford the cost of school supplies and because of severe cuts to our education budgets, teachers often request items in the hopes that some students will be able to provide for those who can't.
