it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Student Voice Committee at MA is committed to promoting literacy and fostering a love for reading among younger students. We believe that through engaging storytelling sessions led by peers, we can inspire and empower younger learners to develop strong literacy skills while also instilling in them the joy of reading. To achieve this goal, we are seeking funding to acquire age-appropriate books and materials for our student-led reading initiative.
MA has an SEL focus, so we are seeking books to read that have an SEL theme.
The proposed project involves organizing reading sessions where members of the Student Voice Committee will read aloud to younger students in elementary grades. These sessions will be interactive and engaging, designed to capture the imagination and interest of the young listeners.
