My Students
My elementary students work hard in class. They put their best foot forward and are inspired to do better. Their parents value education greatly but are often unable to support learning outside of the school day.
The students of today will be the leaders of tomorrow; future doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and software designers.
As a teacher, it is my job to prepare these students for careers that are not in existence yet. By giving my students opportunities inside and outside the classroom to grow and succeed, I can see that I am shaping the future of our great nation.
My Project
Our campus is beginning the stages of developing an outdoor learning area for students in our courtyard. As such, we need durable items to increase the engagement of our outdoor area.
We can't wait to enjoy the knock down number challenge and parachutes in our new outdoor learning area.
We want this space to be used for both playing at recess and as an outdoor learning classroom. Games, like the bowling set and basketball hoop, will encourage students to experience teamwork together. The swing and catch cups and the croquet set would be great for independent play and strengthening hand/eye coordination. We can't wait for all our students to get the opportunity to use this new space.
