Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from low-income communities while some of them are ESL learners and also bilingual students. My students are mostly living in apartments and have limited ways to stay motivated while learning remotely. The students belong to households where parents are struggling with English and cannot offer enough support at home.

My Project

My students come mainly from low income communities and live in apartments where space is limited. Sharing a limited space with other family members results in learning materials and toys that are more digital and less intellectually stimulating.

Having access to LEGOS and combining it with Project Based Learning and Coding lessons in STEAM will enhance student understand of engineering, Math and Science concepts

Students will also develop skills on focusing and completing a complex task despite having trouble with staying focused on task because of the popularity of LEGOS.
