My Project

As a new librarian in the state of South Carolina, I need the time and space to network and learn from others here. I have successfully served in Texas, Illinois, and Oklahoma as a school librarian who contributed professionally to the field. However, due to a recent move from Oklahoma, I need to make that same effective space and network in a new state without the same generous support from my district.

I plan to use the networks I make to increase the learning power of students by increasing the number of interactions within the community and where professionals can share their backgrounds with my students.

I plan to attend the conference in March in the town where I live, so there is no travel and no overnight stays needed.
