This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our STEM Lab has been created to give each of our students a hands-on experience every week. With the Aerogarden Farm 24+ hydroponic unit, each student will be able to learn all about the growth of a plant from seed to mature plant.

The goal of this project is to drive a conversation on sustainability, food security, and what is necessary to grow the food we need along with developing problem-solving skills to real-world connections.

Who knows, maybe one of our students will find the solution to sustainable farming for our planet with this program.
