Please join me in my effort of inspiring a love of speaking and listening in Spanish in my students. I am a high school Spanish teacher in a high needs New York City school.
I try my best to be creative and not teach out of our outdated textbook every single day, but limited school resources prevent me from doing this with ease. I would love to be able to show pictures, movie clips, slide shows, articles, works of art, and pages from books on the overhead screen for all to see. Supplementing my lessons with authentic materials would really give my students something to talk about.
I need a cart in order to best use the LCD projector that I am requesting in part 1 of this proposal. Having a cart that I can extend will allow students in all my classes to benefit from the use of the LCD projector to show authentic materials in class.
