Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every student who walks into my classroom has a chance to succeed in school. However, sometimes some students come with no supplies, making it difficult for them to learn. I want to be able to provide all my students with the necessary supplies they will need for class.

Pencils, index cards, pens, and Sharpies are great items for reading, vocabulary, and taking notes in their journals.

The markers, colored pencils, glue, scissors, and poster paper are for art projects students will be assigned in English, History, and Marine Biology. The end tables will be used as desks for students who sit in the classroom library.

To alleviate the economic burden on the parents, I would like to provide my students with a goody bag of school supplies.

I have not met my incoming students, but I know they are exceptional because they chose to be in the Environmental Magnet. Students who come to our magnet are compassionate, empathetic, and kind. I'm looking forward to meeting them and having a successful year.
