My Project

Our classroom is looking to get some flexible seating options so that our students can learn, while also moving their bodies.

My goal is to create an environment that meets our students' sensory needs in order for them to achieve at their greatest potential.

We are very excited to have a wider variety of seating options in our classroom! As we all know, everyone is different. We all learn differently and what is best for one student may not be the best for another. One size does not fit all. So then why do we expect all students to sit in the same type of chair all day?

Our class is looking to include rocking chairs and wiggle stools as options for seating! These items will help our students learn while also allowing their bodies the tools and space needed to move appropriately.
