Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are three and four-year-olds from an inner-city. They are very curious about the world around them, and I want to provide them with ample opportunities to learn and achieve their goals. The urban area that they are from provides many cultural experiences for the students. We want to provide a safe place for the students to come together and learn from each other about what makes each of them special; that is why we are a National School of Character. We are exploring the opportunity to become an Eco-School USA and the students enjoy learning new ways to help the environment and save the planet.

My Project

Today we need to spread out and get working. The students need tables to sit at and learn and create with their teachers and friends. The more places we provide for the students to work the more comfortable they will be. With each table, we will be able to set up activities for smaller groups of students to work together.

We know that the more opportunities that we give the students collaborate on projects together the more language they get and the more social they become.

This will help them in multiple subjects and interpersonal levels. These pieces of furniture will give us a chance to really get to work on projects that are creative and fun! We will use them every day and each student will benefit from this project.
