Learning English is challenging. My job as a support teacher is to help students grasp the basic foundation of the English language. We spend every day learning about sounds, syllables, and vocabulary. It can be very mundane and challenging, especially for students with a first language other than English.
On Fridays, we play word games.
The games I am asking for will be used regularly with several groups of students. I am also asking for some dry-erase markers to use with my wipe boards so that we don't waste paper when we play word games.
I am so excited to introduce these games to my phonics groups in the fall.
