This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am the proud teacher of the most amazing group of problem solvers. Students love to learn and engage in real-world problem-solving. They are full of energy, curiosity, and passion.

Puma Pride is our motto; problem-solving, responsibility, integrity, drive, and empathy.

I'm so excited to be able to facilitate their learning as I continue to learn from them every single day. They have the most creative and innovative ideas. My hope is to help them to bring their ideas to life.

My Project

Students will be using the VersaTiles Math Classroom Kit to help students to self direct their math learning. This kit allows students to check their understanding in a visual and engaging way. Students often find math boring or challenging. However, VersaTiles will provide a way for students to check their answers using pictures. As well as the actual hands-on experience of placing the tiles on the board.

VersaTiles will provide an engaging experience that is accessible to all types of learners.

Students will use VersaTiles Math Classroom Kit to differentiate their math learning experience. Some students need more practice and review, while other students need a challenge. This will contribute to ALL students learning.
