My Project
I have 25 ambitious kindergarteners with a whole lot of energy in the mornings. Usually when they arrive, they are expected to grab a letter practice worksheet to work on while the rest of the class makes their way to my room. This system was working well, until I started to run out of worksheets that were developmentally appropriate for them, since their understanding was constantly evolving. Also, I wasn't able to get to a copier machine to print off the worksheets in time for the next week.
As a result, morning work was pretty inconsistent, and I was wasting a lot of paper through the year.
With the use of these folders, page protectors, and dry erase markers, I will not only save paper, but give my students constant practice over the foundational skills they need in order to be successful throughout their school career.
