My Students
I have 25 wonderful 1st graders who love to learn. Our suburban school houses students from Kindergarten up to 6th grade. My students come from diverse backgrounds; our school wants everyone to succeed. We believe in the BIG 3: respect, responsibility, and safety. These rules help my students succeed in school and in life.
Your donation to our classroom is greatly appreciated; without donors, like you, my students would not have flexible seating, science materials and manipulatives, and a bevy of other resources that have been donated to our classroom.

My Project
Benjamin Franklin said " by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail". Having a dull pencil or crayon is stifling to learning. I can't expect my students to learn without sharp pencils and crayons in their hands EVERYDAY.
Your wonderful donation of 3 pencil sharpeners, a CRAYON SHARPENER (hooray), and 144 Ticonderoga pencils (which are the easiest pencil to sharpen) is going to be a game changer for my first graders.
Having their primary learning tools always ready will positively impact my students' learning in all subjects.
In my classroom, students get to sharpen whenever they want (within reason). This freedom allows them to keep their pencils and crayons ready for learning ALL THE TIME!
