My students need a new writing easel and a cordless sweeper.

My Students

I have a group of twenty amazing four-year-old PreK Students. We are located in a small rural district in northeastern Oklahoma. The majority of the schools in our district are Title I. Our community has a very high Native American population, as it is the home for nine Tribal Nations. Many of my students are experiencing being in a school setting for the first time. We are preparing them and building a foundation for them to continue to become successful scholars.

My Project

I am requesting two items, a new easel and a cordless sweeper. The easel is the center of our classroom, where we spend the majority of our day. We currently have an easel, but it doesn't erase, doesn't have storage and is in need of a face-lift.

With a new easel, I will be able to have all materials at my fingertips, and the students will be able to write to their little hearts content.

We also are requesting a cordless sweeper. PreK has a tendency to get a little messy, with a cordless sweeper, we would be able to quickly pick up our messes, without having to mess with power cords.
