This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We currently structure class on Google Classroom. We’re currently utilizing videos, web articles and items that they already have in their possession to improvise as their learning tools. They have been encouraging and uplifting despite the pandemic and look forward to our lessons!

My Project

My culinary essentials will help encourage my students to create dishes at home. Our Zoom demos are encouraging and uplifting! Being able to share stories how my lessons of scratch cookery have assisted with helping feed their families. I want to be able to continue the vital learning of the culinary and hospitality world through technology during this pandemic with the appropriate tools to be successful. Our campus is in a community that's high in poverty and culinary arts was their utopia to create and have a mental break! Thank you!
