My Project

I am looking forward to the new year with new students. After attending the Arts Conference this spring, I want to give my students more opputunities to learn creatively, using items like the scarves and rhythm sticks to create presentations to share what they have learned in science, math and language arts. Using the floor cushions will allow students to collaborate with others away from their desks in a more causual, yet controlled setting.

Students should have access to materials and supplies that make learning meaningful and innovative.

I believe that technology is just as important as creative learning and can, in fact, aid a student in their creative learning process. Students sometimes have a hard time navagating the mouse pad and therefore, I would love to give them the option of using a mouse throughout the year. Also, headphones work great, as long as they ARE working. I have needed to replace a few that have served their purpose and would love your help to make this work.

Sometimes supplying the students with everything I wish I could is a little overwhelming, however, Donor's Choose, their affiliates and sponsors help to make these dreams come true for teachers and students alike. Looking forward to an amazing school year, filled with student engagement.
