Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for a project that means a lot to me and my students. As we gear up for the new school year, I want to ensure that every child has the basic school supplies they need to start off on the right foot. Many of my students come from low-income families and often struggle to provide even the essentials.
By providing each student with the necessary supplies, we can boost their confidence and help them feel comfortable in the classroom.
No one wants to feel embarrassed about not having what they need. I’m also excited to give each student a personalized name tag and a homework folder filled with helpful information to support their learning.
With your generous support, I can also provide glue sticks, scissors, pencils, and crayons—tools they’ll use every day for their schoolwork and projects.
