My Project

Hi! I am a new art teacher at a school that hasn't had an art teacher for over a decade. That means all my students in grades PreK-8th grade, will be having art class for the first time. I am so excited to be here to share this opportunity with them. I hope this classroom becomes a place for students to express positive and negative emotions through art making.

Since this is my first time teaching art, the gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers will be a huge help to have some successfully tested lessons to get us off to a strong start.

I've included some books that will be great read alouds for the primary aged students, some various supplies to create art in new ways, and a shelf to help organize our artwork and papers.

I am so excited to start an art making journey with these kids! I appreciate you're help.
