My students need supplies for the classroom. I am starting the year from scratch and need basic classroom supplies to create a fun, learning environment for my students!

My Students

My students are hard-working, creative, fun and eager to learn! They come from diverse backgrounds in one of the few remaining working class neighborhoods in San Francisco.

When students are in my classroom they are busy scientists!

This is my first year teaching in this district and I want my students to have the best learning environment and resources available. I teach in the oldest education building in San Francisco. Due to the age of the building, it is important that I create an accommodating environment to give students a science education that rivals their peers who have access to new state of the art science labs.

My Project

This is my first year in a new school and I need supplies to create a fun, engaging science environment. My students will use highlighters and sticky notes to close read informational text. We will use markers, erasers and white boards to solve problems and show our work. Various projects throughout the year will utilize glue sticks, colored pencils and clorox wipes for cleaning up experiments. I will use one of the carts for classroom supplies for students and the other cart will hold a projector for showing video clips, images, presentations and instructions. I hope to have a fun year with my new students but will need supplies to get started. I'm excited for a great year!
