Help me give my students notebooks for the start of the school year. We use them each day. Last year the kids personalized them with collage materials and many did not go missing!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class comes from all parts of the city. They are second language learners and have learning disabilities. They are eager to learn and very funny. They come prepared and excited for school. They have their moments, however, with proper support and guidance they find success through out the day. They do not give up and they try to learn in many different ways.

My Project
These notebooks are used daily to take notes and make scientific drawings. We collage the fronts of the notebooks to personalize them and make them stand out. The personalization has also helped the students hold onto them through out the school year. They like their notebooks!
My students require a lot of structure and the notebooks are extremely helpful.
We use them together, for review and to write down new ideas. The students stay organized as well. They have the information learned from the lesson available to them and in terms that are accessible to them. We add the pictures to make it more comprehensive and more visual. The notebooks are key to our program.
