My Students

Many of our students will be arriving at school this year for the first time since March of 2020. They will be excited, yet nervous, to immerse themselves in an inspiring, safe, and consistent learning community. With low-income backgrounds, 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Our students come from fascinating backgrounds, and households of wonderfully diverse constitutions.

Many of my students are English Language Learners and work so hard to not only excel in academics, but also in learning a new language and culture.

Every year students enter our classroom without being able to understand or speak English. It is amazing to be part of their journey as they grow leaps and bounds in just one short year.

Exciting, engaging learning opportunities that build lifelong understanding are crucial for these students. By creating immersive, hands-on, multi-sensory learning opportunities, our students will solidify their learning while having fun!

My Project

My students are in need of some new supplies. We need a few more black lights to transform our room into a fun space for math sprints. We need some new arts and crafts supplies. We need some more white board markers. And last, but not least, we need a place for every student to hang their water bottle on their desk!

These supplies will help us get organized and have some fun!
