My Project

One key component of STEAM at our school is our STEAM notebook which includes all steps of the engineering process for the STEAM task at hand.

I encourage students to be as creative as they want when journaling in their STEAM notebook during both whole-group, small-group, and individual portions of STEAM activities.

Having a student center to retrieve art supplies that is filled with diverse items and organized is essential to ensuring they can complete their journal entries easily.

I am moving into my own classroom this year and only have pencils, scissors, and glue sticks, so paper and the accompanying organizational components are essential. Plus, white board paddles are GREAT for whole-group collaboration during research prior-knowledge check phases!
