Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our bright Second Graders will create a budget for a fruit and Tajin stand, determine the supplies needed and calculate their cost. Each table group will create and complete a detailed spreadsheet to document expenses.
Our second graders will have a real world application of their financial literacy skills.
After they complete their project, our amazing students will receive a delicious fruit cup with Tajin as a reward. And present their project to the whole school and our involved community members, while managing a fruit stand for everyone to enjoy.
