My Project
Most of my students are currently working on engage in a reading activity while in small and large group. Books that students can interact with help to keep them engaged and excited about reading. We also enjoy having books to read during whole group that we can tie to our unit lessons.
My students are very visual and tactile learners.
While looking at our books we are able to focus on vocabulary but it looks very different in our classroom. Most of my students are non-verbal so they are working to identify objects in our pictures by touch.
