This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students struggle in reading. Specifically the basics of phonological awareness reading fundamentals. I love these games/manipulatives!
Our English Language Learners will use these reading games/resources to increase their ability to break down, read words and build their one to one letter correspondence skills.
The dry erase markers will be our "special" reading markers. Only to be used when doing reading centers. I believe all of the included reading games will provide an emphasis on focus and excellence in reference to our work. My vision is that I will be able to create a lending library with all of the resources I acquire. Therefore not only will your donation impact my classroom but also potentially all 800 students within our building, now that is powerful!
