it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of adorable, energetic, eager to learn 5 year old children. For my class project, "Let's Get Our Hands-On Some Interactive Learning In Kindergarten," I am asking for flip and solve math boards, a word building magnetic activity tin game and single line write and wipe boards. My goal for the flip and solve math boards is to teach the concepts of addition, subtraction, greater than, less than, and equal to, in a fun, developmentally appropriate, hands-on way. I feel that, especially at this young age, children learn best when involved in hands-on activities where they can learn through exploration and by interacting with materials. My goal for the word building magnetic tin is to have my students begin to learn how to put sounds together to make words in a fun, hands-on way. Finally, my goal for the single line write and wipe boards is to have my students learn how to correctly form the letters and to improve upon their fine motor development. Please help me help my students by donating to my class project.
