This will be my third year teaching second grade and I know exactly what my students need to start the year off strong with a highly organized classroom. This year my goal is to keep the classroom library organized and help my students keep their desks organized. Organization and group sharing skills need to be explicitly taught for smooth stress free classroom transitions.
Several of my students are immigrants and refugees.
Books in their native language will help them feel included and help me as a teacher bring more equity in the classroom. My goal is to provide an organized, thoughtful learning experience for all my students while building a love of reading!
