My Project
My students are often noticeably lacking organizational and notetaking skills. In addition to my curriculum, I want my students to learn soft skills like organization and time management that will ensure their future success.
Through the use of interactive student notebooks, my students will learn how to organize their thoughts, express what they've learned in a variety of ways, and learn multiple note taking strategies to facilitate learning new content.
Not all of my students are able to afford school supplies. I would like to be able to provide composition notebooks, rulers to draw tables and other graphic organizers, and glue to attach hardcopies of materials directly into their interactive student notebooks. Using this method completely erases the need for a binder that can often get messy. Additionally, interactive student notebooks offer the opportunity to express creativity and individualism.
