This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of my kindergartners come from low-income households, but they love coming to school every day and learning new things. I want to make sure their first year of school is a success. We have a lot of supplies and materials for our STEAM centers that we use every day, and we need a place to store them. I've bought cheaper containers in the past, but they never last. I'd like to provide my students with sturdy containers that won't get destroyed before the year is done. I've also looked for containers that are easy to open and close for their little hands.
I want to provide my students with containers so they can access our STEAM center materials any time we need them.
This will help our day run smoother and also teach the kids the benefits to staying organized. These storage containers are durable and sturdy and will benefit many kindergartners for years to come.
More than half of students from low‑income households
