This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the wonderful opportunity to teach a great group of third grade students in a Title I school in NYC. My students' imaginations and learning go hand in hand as they explore countries around the world, read relevant and interesting books and investigate their math concepts.
As with all little minds, organization can greatly enhance their learning experiences and an organized system to keep their materials in one place for them to quickly access is a key to success!
A classroom paper keeper is just the place to file away important notes and materials that we will use each day. A set of bins for materials will allow us to quickly find our math manipulatives as we explore multiplication and more!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
